About John Mcintosh And Mcintosh Law Office
My name is John McIntosh and I am the sole proprietor of McIntosh Law Office. I have been practicing law for over 25 years and my practice is limited to the area of family law.
I graduated from St. Olaf College and William Mitchell College of Law and am barred in both State and Federal Courts. I am qualified as both a mediator and an arbitrator and have hundreds of hours of experience in all kinds of alternative dispute resolution processes, including but not limited to mediation, early neutral evaluation, custody and parenting time evaluations, working with Parenting Consultants and Expediters and hybrid procedures.
I have been served as a guest lecturer at St. Cloud State University and at various seminars. I have served on various Boards of Directors, Task Forces and committees and volunteered time at legal clinics and for many social justice causes. I have received numerous awards, certificates of appreciation and commendations for all kinds of volunteer and pro bono work.
I have raised money and goods and volunteered countless hours for a long list of well-deserving organizations, including but not limited to the Harriet Tubman Battered Women’s Shelter, the Wright County Community Action Project, the Minneapolis Crisis Nursery, St, Jospeh’s Coat, Northside Christian Community Services, Santa Anonomys and other social justice and environmental organizations.
When I am not in the office I can often be found fishing for everything from sunnies to muskies. I am an outdoor enthusiast and enjoy camping, hiking, snowmobiling, golfing, other outdoor activities with my family and my friends. I also enjoy live music and have been involved with organizing many events for fun and charity.
I have also been involved in a variety of conservation activities and long been an advocate for family farms and organic and sustainable agriculture. Life is not all about making money, it’s about making things better for everyone and for future generations.
